There are several diverse fighter types in the Mortal Kombat franchise, each having a convoluted past and even more convoluted personality. From the fighting game series that is renowned for having the best narrative in the category, what more could you ask for? Even if there are more male characters than female ones, the female characters are still quite cool. In fact, we contend that the female characters in Mortal Kombat are the greatest ones, dollar for dollar.

11 Kronika

Kronika is currently only a a non-playable boss in Mortal Kombat 11 and cannot yet be played as a character. Nonetheless, most bosses eventually make the move to joining the roster, with the exception of the PS2 era (which we try our best to avoid discussing). We can’t wait for Kronika to be playable because of her fascinating grasp of space and time, which opens up some really interesting attack possibilities.
Although her teleportation and immobilization abilities are not particularly novel to Mortal Kombat, her time-reversing skill is. Since we believe Kronika has a very interesting moveset compared to other characters in a Mortal Kombat game, we’re crossing our fingers that she returns.
10 Skarlet
Skarlet is one of the characters that most benefited from a revamp. Two adjectives best describe Skarlet’s design in Mortal Kombat 9: bikini ninja. However, Mortal Kombat 9 was known for its eye-rolling designs, so that probably shouldn’t come as a surprise. Thankfully, Skarlet made a reappearance in Mortal Kombat 11, and she looks amazing.
Skarlet employs blood magic, just like Nitara did, to create weapons and turn her opponents inside out. She is unquestionably a villain in the narrative. But she’s one of those self-serving, opportunistic types. She ultimately has her own interests at heart, as evidenced by the ending of Mortal Kombat 11. She does appear to be romantically interested in Shao Khan, though. Given that Skarlet is undoubtedly one of the coolest Outworlders, we can only hope that she has the chance to paint the town red in the future.
9 Sindel
Sindel is a significant figure. Mothers are usually absent from video games, while fathers have always existed. Sindel is unquestionably the first mother of a fighting game to appear in the same game as her child, but even on that alone, she was already in a select group. That’s all well and good, but this scream queen is more than her historic feats. She is a fierce individual with a powerful voice. Can we say a voice that will murder instead?

She must have been prepared for every battle she would engage in because she was the ruler of one of the most exquisite realms in the cosmos. 8 Cassie Cage
It makes perfect sense that Cassie Cage’s talents would be a combination of her parents’ as she is the daughter of fictional characters Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage. Combining her mother’s Special Forces training, Cassie carries two handguns and military-grade hand-to-hand combat skills.
She also carries her father’s mystical energy, which is shown in the green aura that surrounds her when she moves in specific ways. Cassie’s presence in Mortal Kombat X also adds a lot of flavor to the tale. She gives an example of what it’s like to be the parent of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage. Put another way, she’s a lot of fun but possibly a little messy. Cassie, we get it. We understand each other.
7 Sheeva
Sheeva is the only formidable female fighter in Mortal Kombat that you should search for. Sheeva belongs to the Shokan race, which consists of beings that are half-dragon and half-human. If that’s not impressive enough, her combat style with four arms might.
Sheeva can grip her opponents with all four of her arms and land a barrage of blows to submit them. She also has the ability to launch strong fireballs that, rather than only pushing people back, really knock them to the ground. Not only that, but she can also inflict harm on everyone in her vicinity with her ground stomps. Sheeva did it better than Goro, even though Goro did it first.
6 D’Vorah

D’Vorah is a distinct, if somewhat unsettling, figure. Originally appearing in Mortal Kombat X, she is essentially a group of insects manipulating a (somewhat) humanoid body.

Her main tactic is to harass her adversaries from a distance because D’Vorah can order her army of demon hornets to fall on her enemies. 5 Jade

In Mortal Kombat X, Jacqui Briggs debuted with Cassie Cage. Even though she doesn’t have the same supernatural abilities as other fighters, you underestimate her at your own risk. It is obvious that this is another Briggs you don’t want to mess with after just one glance at her vicious, ribcage-shattering X-Ray strike.
Jacqui is not only a really fulfilling fighter to play, but she also plays a really important role in the narrative. She makes a fantastic counterpoint to other, less stable personalities because of her pragmatism and tactical acumen. Among the Kombat Kids, she is the voice of reason.
3 Mileena
Mileena is more than just Princess Kitana’s clone; she is a creature all her own. Technically speaking, though, we’re talking about her fighting style here; Shang Tsung formed her in his gloomy meat pits. Mileena is a hybrid of a Tarkatan and a Kitana, combining amazing power and swiftness.

Has she ever been a villain? Yes, but who hasn’t in the world of Mortal Kombat?

The first female character in the Mortal Kombat series was named Sonya Blade. With the startling exception of Mortal Kombat 2, she debuted in the first game and has been a staple of almost every Mortal Kombat game since. She might not look like a soldier as much as a fitness instructor, but considering her amazing agility, perhaps that is intentional.
She mostly uses hand-to-hand combat in close quarters, although in more recent games, she has added more technological elements to her Special Moves, like stun grenades and drone drops. She was equipped with a large repertoire of distinctive maneuvers. Sonya has become the most iconic of all the female characters in the series. Sonya hasn’t faded into the background, even after her daughter joined the group. She remains relevant as ever in the modern era. Please refrain from asking her to spare you; she will take it far too literally.
